What is the reBRAINed initiative?
The reBRAINed initiative is an online platform that serves as a clearinghouse of information, providing knowledge, ideas, and solutions for anyone touched by chronic illness and the chaos it brings. We offer the patient, their caregiver, and families information to help them learn, grow, and heal as they traverse the inevitable pitfalls and stumbling blocks inherent in the rehabilitation process.
Our Mission
Building a robust and interactive website community, providing curated content, organizational tools, wellness resources, and interactive platforms, as patients rehabilitate and return to their daily lives.
Business model: A digital ecosystem that serves as an informational "clearing house," offering a broad range of curated medical, health, and wellness articles and reviews; research papers, studies, and reports; and a host of other "hands-on" elements to engage the reader. In so doing, we strive to build a collaborative community that revolutionizes patient rehabilitation and redefines patient recovery.
Audience: Adolescent and young adult patients aged 12 to 39, rehabilitating from neurological and cardiac medical issues and the chronic conditions stemming from them, with the support of their caregivers and families.
Core value: Providing support, community and insight throughout the healing process. We endeavor to inspire patients, their caregivers and families, and support their growth by sharing our story and what worked for us.
Our Vision
To establish the reBRAINed initiative as a community dedicated to improving the daily lives and rehabilitation journey of young adult patients aged 12 to 39, their caregivers and families, as they deal with neurological and cardiac medical conditions, and the chronic illnesses stemming from them.
